Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Yuzunihon, a Japanese-language learning website and application available at yuzunihon.com (the "Service"). The Service is operated by Unique Technology Software Company Limited, a company registered at Street No. 37, Binh Phu Ward, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam and trading as UniqTech("Yuzunihon", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility & accounts

You must be at least 16 years old (or the age of digital consent in your country) to use the Service. You are responsible for the activity under your account and for keeping your login credentials secure. Provide accurate information and keep it up to date.

2. Subscriptions, trial & billing

Yuzunihon offers a free tier and a paid "Premium" plan, available monthly (US$5 per month) or annually (US$50 per year). Prices may be shown in your local currency and can vary by country.

• Free trial: Premium may include a 3-day free trial. A valid payment method is required to start the trial. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, your subscription automatically converts to a paid subscription and you are charged the applicable price.
• Auto-renewal: Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from your account; access continues until the end of the current paid period. This does not apply to Premium bought in Vietnam, which never renews.
• Merchant of Record: Subscriptions purchased outside Vietnam are handled by Paddle, which acts as the Merchant of Record and reseller for those purchases. Your purchase is also subject to Paddle's buyer terms, and your payment details are processed by Paddle — we do not store your card information.
• Purchases in Vietnam: Passes bought in Vietnam are sold directly by Unique Technology Software Company Limited, not through Paddle, and are paid in Vietnamese đồng through payOS. Paddle is not a party to those purchases and its buyer terms do not apply to them. Premium bought this way grants Premium for a fixed number of days, is charged once, and does not renew automatically — access simply ends on the stated date unless you buy again. We do not store your bank or card details.

3. Refunds & cancellation

You may request a refund within 14 days of the date of your payment. Refunds are issued in full to your original payment method via Paddle, or — for Premium bought in Vietnam — by bank transfer from us. Cancellation and refunds are described in full in our Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms and matches Paddle's Refund Policy.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• copy, resell, or redistribute the Service or its learning content;
• attempt to access the Service in an unauthorised way, disrupt it, or circumvent usage limits or security measures;
• use the Service for any unlawful purpose.

5. Intellectual property

The Service and its content (lessons, quizzes, text, graphics, and software) are owned by Yuzunihon or its licensors and are protected by law. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Service for personal, non-commercial learning.

6. Disclaimers & limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Yuzunihon is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

7. Changes to the Service or Terms

We may update the Service and these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

8. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Vietnam, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
